About Us
We are a non-profit, self governed, volunteered board supported organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for anyone who has or will have intestinal or urinary diversionary surgery.
Membership is open to ostomates, their families, friends and health care professionals.
What We Do
*We hold monthly meetings to provide education and support for Ostomates and their families.
*We facilitate monthly Ostomy 101 classes recommended to new patients by area hospitals & Home Health agencies.
*We train & certify patient visitors.
*We maintain an ostomy supply closet for the uninsured.
*We regularly attend and participate in clinician education/enrichment programs advocating for patient education, empowerment, and care.
