HOW to Get Ostomy Supplies

The Ostomy Support Group of North San Diego County (OSGNSDC) is committed to helping uninsured San Diego area and Baja California residents secure ostomy supplies through our Ostomy Supply Closets. Non-medical community volunteers run our Supply Closets. All the ostomy supplies in our closets have been donated. Sizes, styles, and quantities are limited. We may not have the exact brand requested.  Fortunately, we stock several high-quality brands that may accommodate your needs.

How to get your requested supplies

  • After completing the REQUIRED Request Form, it may take 5-7 days for our volunteers to process your request.

  • Why do I need to complete a form?​​

    • One size does not fill all people or all ostomies. There is a large variation. It's crucial you receive ostomy supplies that you can actually use and function properly for you.​

  • Why does it take 5-7 days to process my request?​

    • We do not have a storefront, office, office staff, or employees. Non-medical volunteers run our supply closet. 

    • Our supply closet is located at a secure commercial storage facility. Cube Smart 1625 W. Vista Way. Vista, CA (see pick-up dates and times below).

  • We cannot accommodate emergencies.  We are non-medical volunteers and do not have a storefront or office.

​

  • You will be required to pick up your requested ostomy supplies. 

  • Monthly supply pick up days/times for 2024 in Vista, CA at Cube Smart 1625 W. Vista Way. Vista, CA

  • 12pm-2pm (pacific time) on the following Saturdays

  • Jan. 20 (10 am-12 pm),  Feb. 24,  Mar. 30,  Apr. 27,  May 18, (no June), July 27, Aug. 24,  Sept. 28,  Oct. 26,  Nov. 23, (no Dec).

  • For the safety of our dedicated volunteers, we do not deliver ostomy supplies.

​

  • You may request 30-days worth of ostomy supplies every 30 days.

​

  • Monthly attendance at our virtual or in-person support group meetings is REQUIRED to receive ostomy supplies from our closets. We offer virtual meetings in English & Spanish.

​

  • A $25 donation is suggested. These donations are used to cover storage facility costs for our Supply Closet.

Our supply closets are run by wonderful volunteers who donate their limited free time to help others.
